On 10th December 2025, the 2nd LIFE CROLIS Visibility event will take place in Zagreb.

Public presentation of the LIFE CROLIS project (Visibility event) will take place on December 10th, 2025 in the premises of the National and University Library in Zagreb. The public presentation of the project is one of the activities prescribed by project Activity E.1 Dissemination of results, and of the three planned public presentation events, this will be the first one. The purpose of the public presentation of the project is to familiarize the professional public and other stakeholders with the project goals and functionalities that will be available to users once the CROLIS system is established. Representatives of the Croatian Parliament, representatives of ministries and other state bodies, university professors and experts from Croatia and abroad will attend the presentation.

At this year’s event, the results achieved so far and the development of a methodology for creating a historical data series for monitoring land cover in the Republic of Croatia from 1968 to the present will be presented. The possibilities of applying the project’s current results will be demonstrated, such as the normalized digital surface model created based on LIDAR scanning of the entire territory of the Republic of Croatia. Project partners will showcase their work to date, including progress in data collection and processing, methodology development, and the implementation of tools that will ensure reliable reporting for six land categories and land-use changes.
