\n\tOn May 6th and 7th, 2025, representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition, along with representatives of partner organizations implementing the LIFE CROLIS project, participated in the LULUCF workshop organized by the Joint Research Centre of the European Union and the European Environment Agency (EEA), focused on improving reporting in the Land Use, Land-Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF) sector.<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n\tOrganized by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission and the European Environment Agency, the LULUCF Workshop was held on May 6th and 7th in Ispra, Italy. This is an almost regular annual workshop that brings together experts from across the European Union who monitor greenhouse gas emissions and removals in the Land Use, Land-Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF) sector.<\/p><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n

\n\tThe workshop was held in a\u00a0hybrid format, with a representative from the Institute for Environmental and Nature Protection of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition attending in person in Ispra, while other members of the LIFE CROLIS project participated online.<\/p><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n

\n\tThe aim of the workshop was to bring together the LULUCF community to discuss challenges and potential solutions related to scientific needs and approaches in the LULUCF sector, with the goal of improving greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting.<\/p><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n
