\n\tC6 Sustainability of CROLIS<\/h2><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n

\n\tCROLIS sustainability will be ensured by the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, based on which all CROLIS institutions will commit to cooperate on CROLIS implementation, and by the CROLIS Action Plan that will be defined in the Decision. The CROLIS Action Plan will define roles, responsibilities, rights and obligations for all CROLIS partners in the maintenance and future improvement of CROLIS.<\/p><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n

\n\t

\n\tThe Croatian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development will be responsible for the maintenance of the newly established CROLIS (Croatian Land Information System) and will thereby ensure its permanent implementation and usability for a wide range of authorities, decision makers, experts, NGOs and other stakeholders. The CROLIS will be part of the National GHG Reporting System.<\/p><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n

\n\tFor reporting in the LULUCF sector according to the methodology of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the collected data on land cover changes must be classified into six categories. It is also necessary to collect historical data on land cover changes between these categories, and for this purpose, historical orthophotos collected from 1968 to 2020 will be used.<\/p><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n

\n\tThis Action involves mapping the entire territory of the Republic of Croatia and the complete separation of collected data into two data models: data on land cover and data on land use.
